Go sailor girl style with the nautical trend

Wednesday, June 9th, 2010

The nautical trend was everywhere in spring and now it’s set to be just as big into summer, with it’s funky palette of blue, white and red, it’s a vibrant yet sophisticated array of colours that are just perfect for summer. Typically a tailored and smart look making use of stripes and polka dots, the sailor girl look is the perfect style for day to night.

Here are some key shoes, bags and accessories that work well with the nautical trend.

Ladies’ wedges seem to have really made a comeback this summer and they are perfect with the sailor girl style, we have lots of hessian and cork wedges in nautical colours and striped patterns.

Flat shoes and canvas pumps pull off this trend easily for a casual look, there’s so many blue, red and white flat pumps and sandals with nautical detailing and designs.

These nautical inspired bags are a perfect touch to any sailor girl look, in lovely nautical colours of blue, red and white, and adorned with some cute embellishments.
