Also known as shooties, shoe boots were one of the biggest footwear trends of spring 2010 and they’re set to make a big comeback for the autumn season. Shoe boots are taller than a shoe but shorter than ankle boot and are one of the most versatile styles of boots that are easily taken from day to night. You can also wear shoe boots with so many different outfits including jeans, leggings and dresses.

Viva La Diva is everywhere at the moment and we were thrilled that Made For Mums showcased our shoes and boots in their maternity Autumn / Winter trends feature. It just goes to show that stylish can be comfortable! And these shoes and boots are ideal for pregnant women.

The first trend alert was animal prints and they combined it with the Legroom High Boot in an extra wide calf and E fit. This width and size is perfect for swollen ankles that many pregnant women experience.

Next up was the colour clash trend and Made For Mums loved the Viva La Diva T Bar Shoe in coral and E fit. A gorgeous burst of colour to any outfit, a comfortable heel height and the wide fitting is great for swollen ankles again. In the sale for just £12.50!

Shoe boots

They were huge for spring 2010 and shoe boots (also known as shooties) are certainly making a comeback for autum / winter in lots of funky styles. Higher than a shoe but shorter than an ankle boot, shoe boots are oh so cute worn with jeans, leggings and dresses. From casual flat shoe boots to shoe boots with killer heels, we’ve so many styles of shooties that will satisfy your tastes.

Cowboy Boots

Certainly one of the biggest boot trends a few years ago, we love it that women’s fashion cowboy boots have come back into fashion with a bang for autumn 2010. They’re so comfortable and easy to wear with so many different styles of clothes and you can even dress them up if need be. Most of our cowboy boots have a small heel and come in ankle, calf and knee boot styles.

Riding Boots

A little bit quirky and a little bit stylish, riding boots are one of the hottest boots trends for autumn 2010. The majority of riding boots come up to the knee or even over the knee and are fairly straight forward in their designs with buckles and a flat sole. Very fashionable when worn with skinny jeans.

Biker Boots

If you’re a quirky diva and love a bit of rock and roll in your look then you’ll love the latest funky biker boots that are so hot right now. Biker boots have chunky soles and buckles and are great with the latest grunge glam look. Wear with jeans for a real biker chick look or go 80s and wear with floral prints.

Sheepskin Boots

We thought the UGG boot trend would have slowly disappeared by now but it seems like it’s here to stay for a long time. Made famous by celebrities, sheepskin boots came into the lightlight a few years ago and they’ve certainly stuck around. We love the original UGG boots and Love From Australia boots. This autumn it’s all about sheepskin lining on the outside!

Our brand new feature ”Girls in the office” takes a look at what shoes the girls in the Viva La Diva office are wearing and although it might still be August it’s autumn boots all round! From versatile ankle boots to quirky utility boots, we’re already prepared for the autumn and with the rainy weather looking set to stay it seems like our boots will be too!
