They might not be the most obvious choice for someone as glamorous as The Diva, but she’s equally besotted with women’s military boots as everyone else is! The military boots fashion is the perfect choice of footwear to wear with this season’s glam grunge trend, which is ideal for wearing from summer into autumn.

The Diva thinks women’s military boots look amazing with skinny jeans or leggings for a casual look, while you can glam them up with a floral dress or cute hotpants. Anyone who’s anyone is wearing these fabulous military boots now so stay bang on trend with Viva La Diva.

The Diva was rather astonished to hear about a new craze…women having surgery on their feet to fit into high heels. Now, The Diva might be utterly obsessed with designer shoes but she would never ever consider undergoing surgery just to wear a pair of shoes. The fad started in the US but it seems like it could well hop over the pond to the UK in the near future and The Diva is worried that women may take it all far too lightly.

The most popular surgery is the “Cinderalla Procedure” that corrects bunions and makes the feet narrower, allowing you to slip your feet into even the skinniest of pointy shoes. Another is “Perfect 10″, a toe shortening operation that trims down the toes that hang over the end of sandals or get crushed into pointy toed shoes.

Less invasive procedures include the “Foot-tuck Fat Pad Augmentation” that takes fat from your abdomen and injects it into the balls of your feet for extra cushioning. Others include injecting botox into the feet to prevent sweating, straightening or cutting down the small toe and toe lengthening with the use of special implants.

Despite warnings from orthopaedic surgeons that such surgery should only be carried out to alleviate pain and deformaties, podiatrists across the US say it’s a booming business, and more UK women are now requesting toe correction procedures and botex injections in the ball of the feet according to the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.

The Diva thinks she can certainly find some less dangerous (and cheaper!) alternatives to solving your foot problems than undergoing surgery and here are her suggestions!

Why bother undergoing painful surgery to have your feet narrowed when you could just simply buy wide fitting shoes?
